Tielsi are delighted to welcome Ben Straughan to the growing Tielsi team. Customers too will be delighted at what Ben adds to the Tielsi formula.
From the salons of Mayfair to Milan, Ben’s had an incredible journey and now brings his years of experience back to St Albans.
Initially mentored as an apprentice by Tony when he just 15 years old and on the shop floor by 18, Ben then progressed to graduate stylist in Hampstead, before moving to Mayfair to premier, award winning, Gielly Green where he worked alongside some of the most advanced colorists and stylists in the industry learning free hand colour and high-end technical cutting, working not just in the salon, but at London Fashion Week and numerous photo shoots.
Young love spirited him away to Milan where his passion for hairdressing also bloomed, learning from leading Italian stylists working on Milan Fashion Week, magazine edits and with high end influencers.
Ben has now decided it’s time to settle down, and post Covid put his talents back into his local community. Ben’s new appointment reunites him with his former mentor and we’re so excited for you to see just what he can do.
